Train Services (Cercanias)
The new suburban train station in the new Terminal T3 building links Malaga Airport with the city centre in one direction and the resorts of Torremolinos, Benalmádena and Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol in the other.
The new train station is situated underground, but it is very spacious with plenty of natural light as it is partially built with glass walls and roof.
From Málaga Airport to Málaga City:
The first train is at 07.15, from then onwards they leave every quarter to and quarter past the hour, until the last train which leaves at 23.45.
From Malaga Airport to Torremolinos, Benalmadena & Fuengirola:
They run every 30 minutes from 05:47 to 22.47.
The fares for this journey are between €1.85 to €2.00.
– To Torremolinos (5 stops. Duration: 10min.)
– To Benalmadena (8 stops. Duration: 17min.)
– To Fuengirola (13 stops. Duration: 35min.)
These are just three of the most popular stops but there are 24 local stops going in the other direction to locations including Pizarra, Alora and Cartama.

Single tickets are from €1.35-€2.85 depending on how many zones you pass through and days of the week.
Return Tickets cost between €1.95 and €4.40 – also depending on how many zones you pass through and days of the week.

From Malaga To Fuengirola
First train leaves at 06.13 then at 43 and 13 minutes past the hour. Last train is at 22.43 (journey time: 29 mins).
