Sierra de Segura. Pontones – Source of the river Segura
Time: 2 hours.
Pontones has 2 quarters, Pontón Alto and Pontón Bajo, this last is the beginning of our route, just when leaving the town, there is a forest track to our right which leads to the source of the river Segura.
The track runs on upwards and after crossing several gorges there is Fuente Segura country estate on our right. A bit farther we shall arrive at the source of the river Segura, after a sharp bend where there is a recreational area.
