Sierra de Cazorla. River Borosa

Time: 4 hours.

The track runs parallel to the Borosa bank, which is the first important tributary of the Guadalquivir river. The river Barosa runs in between steep banks through the Cerrada de Elias, where the walls in some stretches are scarely separated by 2 metres.

Throughout the route we shall observe for a long while the steep walls oof the Sierra de las Banderillas, which are of calcareous nature. From the power station, the falls and bare fields along the river can be seen, a place where deer and goats are to be found in search of pasture and water, abundant in this area.
