If you go to Benamejí on Lord´s Day don’t take your eyes off the ground so as not to damage the exquisite carpets of dyed salt that decorate more than a kilometre of pavement of the town´s streets.
Each carpet magnificently portrays an evangelical scene and qualifies as a genuine work of art. This can be a good excuse to get to know this town whose every street exudes nobility and which has as its principal monuments the parish church of La Inmaculada de la Concepción, the hermitage of San Sebastian and the Virgen de García Sanctuary.
